BIOGRAPHY
Being born in the early 90’s and growing up in Los Angeles, Earl (DJ EOS) was always somehow surrounded by the Hip-Hop culture in some way shape or form. From listening to Hip Hop and R&B albums with his cousins on vinyl and cassette tapes, to seeing all the graffiti art painted everywhere in his East LA neighborhood on a bus ride home from school, and eventually auditioning for his first Hip Hop dance team as a b-boy at 15 years old, he had found himself immersed and in love with in the culture before he even knew it. At 16, he made a promise to himself that he would learn and dive into every element of Hip Hop at least once.
Fast-forward some 10+ years, after dancing on some of the most notable Hip Hop teams in the SoCal dance community (Culture Shock LA & PAC Modern), and finding a fulfilling artistic career as a photographer in the wedding industry, Earl decided it was time to explore and pursue the last leg of his journey through Hip Hop. Enter the world of DJing and the Academy Of DJs. Earl began his education and training under the tutelage of DJ D.HO and DJ JOSH SMILES during the Season 3 class.
Since graduating from Season 3 of ACODJs, DJ EOS has gotten opportunities to spin at the some of the hottest clubs in the OC opening for talent such as DJ Mustard, Ginuwine, Deux Twins, & Dre Sinatra. Most recently, he has come back to the Academy for his second season as a Teaching Assistant.
With his DJing style coming from the Hip Hop/Party Rocking foundation, he mixes elements of Moombahton, Trap and other EDM sub genres to create a high energy, open format style. With many years ahead of him still and many more stripes to earn, Earl's thirst for learning and growing has never been stronger.
