Kallie is currently based in LA but is a proud Bay Area native and attributes her love for Hip-Hop, R&B, and music in general to her hometown. Alongside DJing, Kallie is also an actor and finds that pursuing both DJing and acting together has allowed each to uniquely shape and enhance the other. Kallie also loves playing basketball, sitting at the beach, and seeing what her two little nieces are up to on Facetime.

kali kal's academy of djs story
DJing was never something Kallie thought she would ACTUALLY pursue, though she always admired DJs from afar. But thanks to a random burst of curiosity and a late-night Google search, Kallie found ACODJs. She applied once before re-applying to Season 17 and was both thrilled and terrified once she learned that she got in. Coming in with no DJing experience, she was welcomed with so much support and enthusiasm from the ACODJ staff and students, ready to take on the program together. She is incredibly grateful for this tremendous learning experience and would not be anywhere without the rest of her cohort.
